Head of Supply Chain

Maldon| up to £70,000 | Mon-Fri 8:45 – 17:15

The Role

Overall, responsibility for delivering and executing the operational aspects of the supply chain to meet customer needs.

To safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s compliant supply chain to facilitate accelerating development, growth, and long-term success

Key Responsibilities

Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of Supply Chain to ensure optimum delivery and stakeholder satisfaction

Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organisational strategic objectives and regulatory requirements, to apply improvements

Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement through all levels of the operation

Manage procurement processes from initial sourcing / planning through to delivery and stock management

Manage relationships / agreements with external partners / suppliers

Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analysing, and interpreting data and metrics, to develop and implement improvement activities

What you’ll need

Proven experience in similar leadership role

Familiarity with business functions including customer service, supply chain and quality

Excellent organisational and leadership ability

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

Problem-solving aptitude

Analytical mind

Experience of integrated ERP systems

Working in a highly regulated environment

Good working knowledge of the manufacturing processes used for medical devices would be desirable

Previous experience within a medical organisation would be advantageous

The Package

Monday to Friday 8:45am – 5:15pm (30 mins flex)

Salary up to £70,000 depending on level of experience

Up to 10% bonus

25 days annual leave

Pension including company contribution of 5%

Onsite parking

Company laptop and phone

This is an office-based role
