Finance Assistant
Location: Office based, Alva, Clackmannanshire - FK12 5DQ
Salary: £23,985-£26,275 per annum, DOE plus benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full time
AccuBio Ltd. (manufacturers of In vitro Medical Devices) are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant.
Job Role:
As our Finance Assistant your main role is to support the finance department in managing the financial transactions of the company.
Main Responsibilities:
Transactional processing, investigating and resolving of issues covering the following areas:
• Purchase Ledger
• Sales Ledger
• Cashbook
• Employee expenses
• Credit control
• Supplier Reconciliation and analysis
• Bank Reconciliation
• Payment runs
General Administration:
• Variety of administrative tasks to assist finance department
• Ordering office and general supplies
• Clerical duties – checking, scanning and filing of documents
• Answering incoming calls
• Greeting visitors when they arrive at reception
General Areas of Responsibility:
• Carry out all duties and responsibilities to the company standard within the timescales required.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with QMS policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with GDPR and Cyber Security policies and procedures.
• Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in a finance department
• AAT/HNC or equivalent qualifications
• Experience with purchase ledger
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• Experience of using ERP systems
