Role Purpose

The Spine Education Manager plays a critical role for the Spine franchise in the UK & Ireland, responsible for creating and executing a commercial and professional education strategy in alignment with platform leaders and supporting business growth.


Key Deliverables

  • Develop and deliver the vision, mission, and goals for the Spine education program aligned to the platform roadmap and business plan.
  • Coordinate the annual operating budget to deliver world‑class training that supports the UK Spine growth targets.
  • Lead the development of tools, policies, and procedures to comply with all legal, regulatory, and HCC policies.
  • Create and execute the Spine team commercial education plan built through training needs analysis.
  • Design and deliver professional education events to ensure surgeon confidence in products and procedures.
  • Build KOL relationships to enhance the company’s education offering.
  • Deliver industry‑leading education that differentiates the UK & Ireland business and adds value for customers.
  • Support wider MedTech education plans, including onboarding.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in learning/education, marketing, or sales in medical devices.
  • Relevant platform clinical expertise and product knowledge.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, professional education, adult education, sales training, strategy development, and analytics.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven influence over corporate leadership and partnership with multi‑functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking, translating business strategy into actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build internal and external networks.
  • Track record of standards of leadership traits and driving change management projects.
  • Flexible and willing to travel (up to 40 % of time).
