Azure DevOps Plugin Engineer

Keeping people alive day after day, this medical device company are looking for an Azure Extension Software Developer to join the team. You would be working adjacent to safety critical software, where code quality and reliability are absolutely crucial. As a Software Developer, you’ll be developing custom plugins and internal tools within the Azure DevOps ecosystem, helping to automate, optimise and improve the software development process for life-saving medical devices.

Projects could include anything from building Azure DevOps plugins, creating internal developer tooling, automating CI/CD pipelines, improving code quality gates, and driving forward cloud-first development practices across the business.

If you’re feeling fed up of not making a difference in your current role, or you want your code to directly help others, this could be the role for you. Working as part of a large wider software team, the work you do will form the backbone of projects to come for many years — enabling faster, safer, and more reliable software development across globally deployed products.

Their products being sold in over 75 countries, the company has continued to grow and continues to invest in new technologies to further disrupt the market.

Requirements:

Circa 5 years’+ experience (less also considered) developing software within cloud or DevOps environments, with experience building custom plugins /  extensions within Azure DevOps.
Development with JavaScript
Python and experience with CI/CD would be desirable.

Engineers can expect 2 days per week home working and 3 days in their London office.
