Ultrasound Specialist - Surgical Technology Innovation - Cambridge

A pioneering surgical technology team near Cambridge is seeking a talented ultrasound scientist to help shape the future of medical innovation. This opportunity is particularly well-suited to a PhD graduate, postdoctoral researcher, or early-career professional with a strong foundation in ultrasound and a desire to apply their expertise to real-world challenges. You'll be involved in the development of advanced surgical platforms, including sensor-integrated instruments and robotic systems, contributing across the full product lifecycle-from early-stage concept development to final deployment.

You'll bring a proactive and inventive mindset, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and contribute to collaborative problem-solving. Experience across areas such as transducer architecture, signal processing, imaging algorithms, acoustic measurement, or regulatory considerations would be beneficial, though not essential.
