This is an exciting opportunity to work on a market-leading clinical imaging platform that supports global clinical trials and helps advance the development of treatments for neurological diseases.

Working within an Agile environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and continuous improvement of a complex software platform. Key Responsibilities:

Test Design & Execution:

  • Design and execute exploratory, functional and regression testing across a range of software features

  • Analyse test results and accurately document defects and issues

Collaboration & Agile Delivery:

  • Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts and Scientists throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement and feature discussions, providing testing expertise throughout
  • Identify gaps within requirements and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Support the ongoing improvement of testing processes and automation practices
  • Contribute towards the development of efficient, scalable testing methodologies
  • Champion best practices and promote a quality-first approach across the engineering team

What We're Looking For:

Essential Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or another relevant technical discipline (or equivalent commercial experience)
  • Commercial experience designing and executing software tests
  • Experience investigating, diagnosing and resolving software defects
  • Experience creating exploratory test scenarios from business requirements
  • Familiarity with Playwright for automated end-to-end and regression testing
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Desirable:

  • Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Bash, Python or Java
  • Experience working within Linux environments
  • Experience contributing to Agile software development teams
  • Knowledge of clinical trial systems or medical imaging workflows
  • Experience estimating testing effort and identifying delivery risks

If you're a Test Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on software that supports cutting-edge healthcare research while helping shape testing processes within a collaborative engineering team, we'd love to hear from you.
