Hugo Technology operates in the healthcare sector, offering a comprehensive service specialising in maintaining, calibrating and repairing medical equipment to Original Equipment Manufacturers’ specifications. Role Purpose

As Stock Controller, you will ensure that we maintain accurate records and an optimum level of stock. The aim is to ensure that Hugo Technology carries an appropriate stock level and maintains good records.

Main Accountabilities

  • Liaise with Customers and other Hugo departments to ensure efficient flow of parts and devices.
  • Responsible for managing inventory levels to maximise working capital and minimise financial loss due to overstocking or obsolescence
  • Ensure accurate stock valuation and maintaining the integrity of inventory data within our database
  • Optimise inventory management to balance stock availability with budgetary constraints.
  • Perform regular stock takes and conduct random checks, identifying, reconciling discrepancies to minimise financial variance.
  • Compile reports and address any inventory discrepancies
  • Reconcile delivery notes against purchase orders, liaise with appropriate departments / managers on discrepancies
  • Work closely with Hugo Quality team to adopt best practice approach to inventory control.

Experience / Skills

  • Strong numeracy skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Commercially aware with a good understanding of inventory valuation
  • Demonstrate experience in managing stock within established budgets
  • Previous experience conducting year end inventory audits
  • Previous experience of using CRM systems
  • Import / export Knowledge (desirable)
