This role will be full time, 40 hours per week.

Cygnet Hospital Bierley provides a range of acute and low secure mental health services for men and women.
The hospital is set across four wards offering single-*** male and female specialist mental health services. All our services are provided under the umbrella of a recovery orientated approach and are reviewed through the CPA framework.

Key Responsibilities
- To assist the Social Workers to ensure that the discipline meets all the identified needs of the service users and (where appropriate) their families.
- Work in partnership with service users, families & other stakeholders
- Contribute to the provision of high-quality care for patients
- Forge links & maintain contact with other statutory agencies
- Lead on the social care needs of patients
- Ensure that patients & their families/carers are aware of their legal rights
- Ensure safeguarding in multidisciplinary teams & provide reports for MDTs & others.
You are...
- Experienced in working within a mental health setting, or passionate about this field
- Knowledgeable of safeguarding, H&S, data protection, confidentiality, equality & diversity
- An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal, IT & telephone skills
- Aware of the Mental Health Act
- Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy skills & attention to detail.
