Bond Williams are recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join an innovative technology company based in London. This role will take technical ownership of the pilot manufacturing process, focusing on process design, optimisation and validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimise pilot manufacturing workflows
  • Define process steps for reagent and cartridge manufacture, kitting and packaging
  • Identify critical process parameters and control points
  • Develop and execute process validation protocols and reports
  • Specify, commission and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
  • Participate in early pilot manufacturing runs to optimise performance

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Experience in process engineering within manufacturing or pilot production environments
  • Experience with process validation, equipment commissioning and process optimisation
  • Experience within medical devices, diagnostics or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

This role focuses on technical ownership and improvement of manufacturing processes rather than routine production and offers the opportunity to work closely with R&D, quality and operational teams in a highly innovative environment.
