A Day in the Life

Medtronic’s Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) business delivers integrated clinical, operational, and financial solutions to healthcare providers across the UK & Ireland. As part of this transformation-focused division, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth, becoming a key link between finance, commercial teams, and clinical service operations.

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, revenue processes, inventory integrity, cost control and digital finance transformation across our Managed Services. This role combines technical accounting, commercial finance, and systems/process transformation—ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, complex, and internationally connected environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial results, support margin optimisation, and help drive Medtronic’s digital finance agenda. Hybrid role, 2 days in the office.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead month-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Medtronic internal controls (SOX), and global accounting policies

  • Manage revenue accruals, contract billing, and revenue recognition

  • Reconcile inventory and validate pricing across SAP and Ingenica systems to ensure financial integrity

  • Collaborate with teams to support customer profitability

  • Support audit readiness, technical accounting for complex transactions, and implementation of new standards

  • Drive automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort

  • Improve finance processes, controls, and data flows across SAP, Ingenica, and related systems

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional accounting qualifications (Part-qualified at final stage considered)

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel skills, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, SAP preferred

  • Knowledge of UK/US GAAP principles, Cost accounting, month-end close, journal entries, revenue recognition and margin analysis

  • Proactive mindset with passion for automation and continuous improvement
