A Day in the Life

Within Structural Heart, our products are used to treat patients with Heart Valve Disease (aortic, mitral, pulmonic and tricuspid). This role has responsibility for Transcatheter Aortic Valves (TAVI – Evolut platform) and Transcatheter Pulmonic Valves (TPV – Melody & Harmony).

There is a constant focus on innovation, supported by significant investment in R&D, resulting in a strong product pipeline with several new products and therapies expected in the coming years. Within the Structural Heart Operating Unit, customers include both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders across the Midlands territory.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Own and deliver territory sales targets, driving revenue growth and market share for TAVI

  • Develop and execute account and therapy development plans aligned with regional strategy and national priorities

  • Identify, engage and influence key decision-makers (clinical and non-clinical), key opinion leaders and referral partners across the Midlands

  • Lead commercial discussions with procurement partners, including pricing strategies, contracting and account optimisation

  • Lead therapy education and pathway development initiatives to improve patient access, referral pathways and procedural outcomes

  • Train and educate hospital staff on Structural Heart therapies using approved resources

  • Provide technical support and training to implanting teams and Cath Lab staff

  • Manage consignment stock in line with all regulatory and quality requirements

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience in medical device sales

  • Strong background in Cardiovascular, Interventional Cardiology or Structural Heart – preferred

  • Experience providing procedural or Cath Lab support

  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Ability to operate effectively in complex clinical sales environments

  • Full UK driving licence
