Bespak is looking for a QA Specialist. This permanent position is located at our Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary for this role is £40k to £47k. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, discretionary annual bonus, generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.

Working Pattern – Monday to Friday usual working times of 8:30am to 5:00pm with an 8:30am to 3:45pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times.

As a QA Specialist, you'll be essential to maintaining cGMP standards at our Holmes Chapel site, providing quality assurance and compliance expertise. Your primary focus will be supporting new product introductions, projects, validation, customer liaison and continuous improvement initiatives, all while contributing to a culture of compliance and excellence. You'll also play a key role in ensuring our Quality Management System runs smoothly, including approving CAPAs, managing change control, and reviewing critical documentation for batch release.

Bespak in Holmes Chapel is an Investors in People Silver Award-winning pharmaceutical CDMO with over 350 employees, currently going through a period of significant site expansion. We are investing heavily to increase our capacity for developing and manufacturing sustainable pMDIs (asthma inhalers) with greener propellants, meeting the evolving standards of the industry, while providing comprehensive development, manufacturing, filling, and finishing solutions for a range of medical devices, including SMIs, DPIs, nasal sprays, and medical check valves.

As a QA Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Ensuring cGMP is maintained across the site.

  • Supporting new product industrialization.

  • Coordinating quality deviations and investigations.

  • Approving and implementing CAPA and Change Control.

  • Reviewing documentation for batch release and projects.

  • Conducting internal and external audits.

    QA Specialist, beneficial key skills and experience:

  • Degree level education in a relevant field.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical quality role.

  • Excellent knowledge of cGMP and Quality Management Systems.

  • Proficiency in risk-based problem-solving.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Effective project management skills and computer literacy.
