What you’ll be doing as a Production Engineer at G&H:
The role will focus on supporting manufacturing engineering activities across the production facility, ensuring processes, documentation and systems are maintained to the highest quality and regulatory standards.

You will work closely with the QA team to process customer change requests and support continuous improvement activities across manufacturing operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support PFMEA and process validation activities across manufacturing operations.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and workflow documentation.
  • Support work cell set-up activities and pilot builds for new products and processes.
  • Review jigs, fixtures and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
    Support MRP structuring, ERP activities and manufacturing data control including Gerber data and project software/firmware.
  • Train and support staff, including maintaining training records within Train Track.
  • Support customer change requests in collaboration with QA and wider operational teams.
  • Ensure manufacturing activities remain compliant with regulatory, quality and health & safety requirements.


At G&H, we’re looking for a Production Engineer with:
  • Degree-level qualification in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge or experience of process validation activities.
Desirable but not essential:
  • ISO 13485/MDR knowledge or training.
  • CAD and design experience.
  • Programming experience in C or Python.
  • Experience within regulated manufacturing or medical device environments.
