We can provide training and support around grant development, educational needs assessments, learning objectives and the wider medical education process. What we need from day one is someone who understands the technologies, clinical evidence, treatment pathways and physicians within the cardiovascular space.

Your Background

Ideally, you will have several years' experience within thecardiovascular medical device industry, in a role such as:

  • Clinical Specialist / Field Clinical Specialist
  • Product Specialist
  • Product Manager
  • Clinical Education / Training
  • Medical or Scientific Affairs
  • Or another clinically focused medical device role

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Structural Heart
  • Coronary Intervention
  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Electrophysiology (EP)
  • AF / VT Ablation
  • EP Mapping
  • Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM)
  • Pacing
  • ICD / CRT
  • Lead Management
  • Cardiac Imaging

Experience deliveringformal product and clinical training would be particularly valuable.

What You'll Do

As Partnerships Development Manager, you will work at the intersection of cardiovascular science, clinical education and industry partnerships.

You will build relationships with leading cardiologists and electrophysiologists, developing a deep understanding of their clinical priorities and the educational gaps facing the cardiovascular community.

Your role will include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with leading cardiologists, electrophysiologists, clinical faculty and industry stakeholders
  • Engaging with physicians to understand unmet educational needs and emerging areas of interest
  • Reviewing and interpreting new clinical evidence, technologies and developments in cardiovascular medicine
  • Understanding clinical pathways, treatment challenges and the practical realities faced by physicians
  • Translating clinical insights into compelling educational concepts and programmes
  • Supporting the development of independent medical education proposals and grant applications
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to develop high-quality educational initiatives
  • Attending major international cardiovascular congresses and industry meetings
  • Identifying opportunities to develop new partnerships and strengthen existing relationships
  • Representing the organisation externally with credibility, confidence and professionalism

You will also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge ofmedical education, educational needs assessments, learning objectives and grant development, with training and support provided where required.

What We're Looking For

Above all, we are looking for someone who is:

  • Clinically credible and comfortable engaging with senior physicians
  • Scientifically curious, with the ability to understand and discuss clinical evidence
  • Experienced in, and passionate about, the cardiovascular device environment
  • Comfortable discussing technologies, treatment pathways and clinical challenges
  • A confident communicator and relationship builder
  • Able to translate complex clinical information into clear, meaningful educational concepts
  • Commercially aware and able to identify opportunities for partnership development
  • Comfortable working in an externally facing role with physicians and industry stakeholders
  • Willing and able to travel internationally

Experience of medical education grants or grant writing isnot essential. The ability to learn the medical education process is important;what cannot easily be taught is an established understanding of the cardiovascular clinical and device landscape.

International Exposure

This is an internationally focused role, with regular engagement with physicians, faculty and industry stakeholders across multiple markets.

You should be comfortable with international travel, including attendance at approximately3-5 major cardiovascular congresses each year. These events will provide opportunities to build relationships, understand emerging clinical trends and technologies, and identify new educational and partnership opportunities.
