Description

Reporting to a national commercial leader, the Area Business Manager will take full ownership of a defined territory across Southwest England and Wales. The role is responsible for driving growth and achieving sales targets across a portfolio of pleural and peritoneal access devices used in Interventional Oncology and supportive cancer care.

You will build trusted, long-term relationships with clinicians across oncology, interventional radiology, respiratory medicine, thoracic surgery and palliative care, positioning solutions that improve symptom control, patient dignity and service efficiency. Key elements of the role include strategic territory planning, key account management, leading product evaluations and trials, and delivering education and in-service training in partnership with internal clinical and marketing teams.

Success will require balancing commercial discipline with credible, patient-focused clinical conversations across complex care pathways.

Profile

Essential: Based on territory, with background in medical device territory sales, with a track record of achieving targets

  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder accounts across hospital and community settings
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and confident working autonomously in a field-based role
