Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Launch Excellence Lead Velys Trauma & Data Products located in Leeds, United Kingdom or Zug, Switzerland.

A recognised expert in launch excellence for both Capital and Digital solutions, with responsibility for managing complex projects and processes supporting Enabling Technologies and Data Products. The role coordinates cross‑functional teams to ensure deliverables are aligned and executed successfully, applying a range of project management frameworks and methodologies to support effective capital and digital implementations. It drives process development and simplification across functions to enable efficient delivery and execution of VELYS Digital and Capital technologies, while coordinating improved data collation, management, and insight generation to support informed business decision‑making. The role also ensures alignment of project timelines and deliverables across regional commercial, functional, and country teams, communicating clear, data‑driven insights on organisational progress.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Leading expert in launch excellence for Capital and Digital

  • Manages large projects, processes & cross functional teams for VELYS Digital and Capital.

  • Ensures deliverables are coordinated to support successful capital and digital implementations using multiple types of project management frameworks and methodologies.

  • Drives process development and simplification across cross functional teams to enable the delivery and execution of Velys Digital and Capital Technology.

  • Coordinates improved data collation, management & insight generation to enable informed business decisions and communicates data driven insights on organizational progress.

  • Ensures alignment of project timelines and deliverables across - regional commercial, functional & country teams

Job Description

  • Implements systems to develop, streamline and implement processes.

  • Installs best-in-class automation processes within VELYS Digital and Capital and implements dashboards and reporting tools.

  • Gathers input & provides leadership to cross-functional teams and creates plans that help the team deliver successful projects and launches on schedule.

  • Supports all lifecycle phases of technology projects from inception through completion.

  • Advises senior management of new project management tools and industry best practices.

  • Devises a scalable technology program and establishes project management systems for quality control.

  • Coordinates improved data collation, management & insight generation to enable informed business decisions and communicates data driven insights on organizational progress.

  • Guides colleagues & teams through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes and provides functional (matrix) supervision.

  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified or professional project management qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare; orthopaedics preferred.

  • Experience working in international matrix organisations.

  • Strong analytical, prioritisation, and negotiation skills.
