You'll be working Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:00 ( 37.5 hours per week) and will be paid £30,459.03 per annum.

Purpose of the role

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accurate and proactive management of the Client's inventory, both physically and within the warehouse management system. This includes maintaining consistency and reliability between physical stock and system data. The role requires close collaboration with the Warehouse Team and the Full Service Inventory Team to drive optimal inventory accuracy, availability, and management-maximising warehouse space utilisation and consistently meeting Client expectations.

This is a developmental role designed to prepare the individual for future leadership opportunities. As part of their growth, the individual will be exposed to various warehouse workflows, including preparing all picking documentation and labels for the Warehouse Team. Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset are essential, as the role involves regular interaction across multiple levels of the operation.

How you'll make an impact as a Inventory Team Leader at Movianto

  • Supporting the Inventory Manager by overseeing the team and coordinating tasks to ensure all activity is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage and motivate a team, setting clear objectives to ensure high standards of achievement
  • Ensure robust process improvements are in place to reduce stock/financial liability within the business
  • Highlight any critical level or serious issues to the Management Team
  • Ensure stock accuracy and integrity is maintained
  • To provide cover in the absence of the Inventory Manager
  • Carry out all Duties in accordance with the requirements of Good Distribution Practice
  • To always promote and ensure a quality mindset in order to comply with legislation, ISO, Health & Safety, MHRA and Company policy

What it will take to thrive at as a Inventory Team Leaderat Movianto:

  • PC Literate with an excellent working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Understanding of effective inventory management and able to identify Non-Conformance to procedures
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Previous experience in Inventory Management, Goods In, Picking, Returns in a previous Team Leader / Senior Operative role
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work additional hours to meet the needs of the business
  • Communication skills of the highest standard
  • Work to time sensitive deadlines
