Are you an organised and proactive professional with experience in Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) administration? Do you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment where no two days are the same?

We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a growing and innovative business in Wallingford as aQHSE Administrator, supporting the Head of QHSE in driving a strong safety culture, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring continuous improvement across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

As the QHSE Administrator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the company's Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing administrative support for the delivery of the Health & Safety strategy

Taking meeting minutes, maintaining action trackers, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed

Supporting incident investigations and assisting with corrective and preventative actions

Managing and maintaining QHSE documentation, systems and records

Administering QHSE platforms and supporting process improvement initiatives

Maintaining the Health & Safety SharePoint site and ensuring documentation remains current

Delivering training and awareness sessions on risk assessments, COSHH and general HSE topics

Monitoring equipment registers, calibration records and HSE planners

Engaging with employees to gather suggestions and promote a positive safety culture

Supporting toolbox talks, training programmes and compliance records

Conducting workplace inspections, audits and shop-floor safety checks

Assisting with risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

Experience in a QHSE, Health & Safety or Compliance Administration role

A background within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment

Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974

Experience working with ISO 9001 quality standards

Confidence in writing risk assessments, work instructions and method statements

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with colleagues at all levels

Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Outlook

IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
