Job Title: Facilities Engineer
Location: Dundee
Contract: Full Time 37.5 hours per week until end of June 2026
Other: Available to work on call, as needed

Key Personnel is currently recruiting a Facilities Engineer to join a global company based in Dundee, recognised for its commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. If you have experience as a facilities engineer in industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, food manufacturing, or in manufacturing plants and production facilities with automated equipment and complex utilities (e.g., HVAC, water purification, refrigeration), we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support for repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.

  • Maintain building services and complete maintenance work orders efficiently.

  • Lead investigations, system upgrades, and manage related documentation.

  • Oversee small projects and coordinate with contractors for repairs.

  • Perform frontline maintenance on plant and production equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, water purification, and critical production equipment.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement, professional development, and provide 24/7 callout cover as needed.

    Requirements:

  • Modern Apprenticeship Level 4, HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification and/or relevant facilities engineering experience in a regulated environment.

  • In-depth experience in facilities maintenance or maintenance of automated equipment.

  • Understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Maximo.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in process engineering and PLC controls is an advantage.
