Job Title: Building Services Electrical Supervisor – Healthcare Facilities

 Location: Hammersmith and Fulham

 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

 Salary: £55,000 per annum

 Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Supervisor to lead our building services team within a healthcare setting in Hammersmith and Fulham. This is a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of electrical systems across clinical and non-clinical areas, directly supporting patient care and operational continuity.

You will be responsible for managing a team of 7 engineers – 3 electrical and 4 fabric – ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance and installations across healthcare facilities, including hospitals and clinics.

Lead and support a team of 7 engineers, ensuring effective task allocation, performance monitoring, and development.

Ensure compliance with HTM (Health Technical Memoranda), standards, and statutory regulations.

Carry out fault diagnosis, inspections, and testing of electrical systems including emergency lighting, fire alarms, and medical interfaces.

Minimise disruption to clinical services while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of work completed, compliance checks, and asset performance.

Collaborate with estates, infection control, and clinical teams to uphold safe working practices.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.

Proven experience in a supervisory role within healthcare or a similarly regulated environment.

Strong understanding of electrical systems in clinical settings.

Knowledge of HTM guidelines and NHS compliance standards (desirable).

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
