An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Components Stores Operative to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Logistics Department.
We are looking to recruit a Components Stores Operative who will work as part of a team to process inbound deliveries and outbound works orders, to ensure that required components and materials are stored correctly and provided to the production department in a timely and accurate manner.
The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of the warehouse process including unloading, receiving, putting away and picking, and will be expected to use a variety of FLT and also the warehouse management system and hand held scanning devices.
They will be flexible and able to perform multiple different tasks during a working day, and be able to utilise a variety of tools and skills to complete tasks and investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Essential Experience/Qualifications- Experience of warehousing and/or logistics functions and processes
- Valid FLT licenses (one or more of CB, RT and pivot/bendy)
Desirable Experience/Qualifications- Experience using warehouse management system and hand held scanners
Key Skills- Good communication with team members and other departments
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
- Flexible and able to move between different tasks and jobs during the day/week
- Committed, enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work in a safe manner complying with Health and Safety Legislation
- Flexibility to work additional hours if required
Hours of Work- 40 hours per week
- 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday
