SALARY:£28,000 - £30,000 per annum Base Salary (depending on experience) + Uncapped Commission (OTE £40,000–£50,000+)
LOCATION:Hybrid - working from home and from the office in Rugby, Warwickshire when needed

The Business Development Manager will manage consultative sales from discovery through proposal, negotiation and close, while developing customer relationships.
Working with appointment-setting, marketing and clinical specialists, the Business Development Manager will match customer needs with equipment, education and implementation support.
The Business Development Manager will also create opportunities through networking, referrals, partnerships and direct business development, maintaining accurate CRM records and forecasts.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Business Development Manager include:
- Consultative Discovery: Conduct structured meetings with healthcare professionals and organisations to understand objectives, use cases, requirements, capability and implementation needs
- Solution Development: Recommend appropriate portable diagnostic equipment and adoption support, including ultrasound systems, bladder scanners, training and implementation services
- Demonstrations and Clinical Input: Manage product demonstrations and coordinate clinical expertise where required
- Proposals and Commercial Discussions: Prepare and present proposals and quotations, handle objections and lead negotiations
- Pipeline Progression: Maintain disciplined follow-up, progress opportunities through the CRM and keep pipeline and sales forecasts accurate
- Closing and Account Growth: Close profitable business, develop existing customers and identify additional opportunities
- New Business Generation:Create opportunities through networking, referrals, partnerships and direct business development
- Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with appointment-setting, marketing and clinical specialists to support a strong customer journey
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
- Strong record in consultative B2B sales, progressing and closing higher-value opportunities
- Commercially ambitious and target-driven, with confidence taking ownership of measurable sales results
- Confident conducting structured discovery conversations, presenting solutions and discussing higher-value investments
- Strong negotiation, objection-handling and persistent follow-up skills
- Highly organised approach to CRM, pipeline management and sales forecasting
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a small, growing team
- Able to learn healthcare technology quickly and work within appropriate clinical boundaries
DESIRABLE
- Medical device or medical equipment sales exposure
- Healthcare technology, diagnostic imaging or ultrasound sales exposure
- Aesthetics, private healthcare, physiotherapy, MSK, rehabilitation, primary care or community healthcare exposure
