Biomedical Engineer - Peterborough
Permanent | Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5pm
Salary: £30-40k DOE

We're looking for a practical and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join a busy hospital site. You'll provide day-to-day medical device repairs, preventative maintenance, and asset management, helping ensure patient care runs smoothly.

Training will be provided to those who do not have exposure to medical equipment, but you must have strong electrical/electronic fault finding and repair skills with practical experience.

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medical devices per manufacturer guidelines
Maintain service records, tools, and spare parts
Travel locally to hospital sites as required
Ensure compliance with safety and hospital standardsWho we're looking for:

Minimum 1 year medical engineering experience in NHS/UK field service (practical placement experience considered) or extensive experience working on electronics/electrical-bias equipment
NVQ Level 3/BTEC equivalent (HNC desirable for senior role) in electrical, electronic, or mechanical with practical electrical/electronic experience
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Local candidates only (minimal relocation)
