Senior Product Design Engineer

Cure Talent is thrilled to partner with an innovative company at the forefront of women’s health. This forward-thinking organisation designs and develops groundbreaking medical devices to monitor and improve the understanding and management of women’s health conditions.

We are recruiting for a Senior Product Design Engineer who will also act as Head of Design. In this role, you will shape the creative vision and design strategy by overseeing the end-to-end design process from concept to production. As a Senior Product Design Engineer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-centred, innovative, and compliant products that enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the design strategy and creative vision for innovative women’s health products as a Senior Product Design Engineer.
  
  
• Lead the end-to-end design process, ensuring solutions are user-centred and compliant with industry standards.
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to refine designs and drive product improvements.
  
  
• Oversee project timelines and manage documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  
  
• Mentor and manage the design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  
  Candidate Profile:
  
  
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
  
  
• Proven experience in product design and development within the medical device industry with a strong portfolio of user-centred solutions.
  
  
• Strong project management abilities with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  
  
• Advanced proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools).
  
  
• Sound understanding of quality system standards, regulations, and risk mitigation in medical device development.
