Role: Head of Regulatory Affairs

Salary: up to £65,000

Location: Manchester

An exciting role has come available for an experienced Head of Regulatory Affairs to join a pharmaceutical company in Manchester. The role will be leading and managing the work of Regulatory Officers and ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the department.

Responsibilities:

Lead Regulatory Affairs team, including all line management responsibilities.
Ensure that all licences comply with the regulations set by the Regulatory Authority.
Ensure timely submission of all new licence applications and licence variations by the Regulatory Affairs team.
Ensure all members of Regulatory Affairs team are adequately trained to perform the tasks required.
Act as a point of contact for all external stakeholders, including MHRA and licence users.
Take ownership for own personal development to ensure continuous improvement of self and others.
Train, mentor and develop members of Regulatory Affairs team.
Motivate and drive performance within the team.
Manage annual leave scheduling for the team and approve holiday requests of team members.
Monitor staff absence and conduct return to work interviews.
Carry out regular staff 1:1s.Experience Required:

Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry
Strong knowledge of regulatory processes.
