Engineering, Support & Services (ESS) Ltd We work with our people to implement and carry out maintenance and asset management to optimise performance.
ESS Group includes three companies – Engineering Support & Services Ltd. (ESS), Eirdata Environmental Services Ltd. (Eirdata), and the newly joined Critical Airflow Europe (CAE).
o ESS are experts in asset management and maintenance reliability through people.
o Eirdata are specialists in cleanroom validation, commissioning and compliance, HVAC systems, indoor air quality and building wellness.
o CAE are the European leader in delivering safe energy efficient laboratory control and critical airflow applications. Critical Airflow Europe Ltd represents Phoenix, Strobic and Aircuity.

Summary of the Role
Seeking an Electrical / Mechanical Site Lead who will perform troubleshooting, inspection, installation and repair of a variety HVAC, extraction and motors across the site.
The Electrical site Lead will work on days alongside the site facilities department. The role entails operation and maintenance of a number of utility systems and production equipment on site.
Duties & Main Responsibilities
•Performs preventive maintenance tasks such as inspecting, replacing components on schedule.
•Testing and adjusting a variety of primarily electrical equipment and systems.
•Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing, adjusting and calibrating a variety of electrical systems.
•Overhauling, cleaning and/or replacement of defective parts.
•Providing engineering support to production.
•Operation, monitoring and maintaining various utility systems
•In the role of Electrical site lead, there are a variety of other, ad hoc responsibilities that may be assigned.
•Understanding that all tasks require a work order and depending on the complexity of task, a permit may also be required. Completion of work is documented under work order notifications with appropriate detail once the work is complete.
•Understanding that if during maintenance something outside of standard should be reported for further investigation.
•Managing site work orders on a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management system)
•Manage and carry out on site instrument calibrations.
•Work to achieve the site services required Key Performance Indicators.
•Maintaining Site Documentation in Line with Client Requirements.
•Coordination and planning of Eirdata validation mobile engineers

Education & Qualifications
•Relevant Relevant Qualification in Electrical / Instrumentation craft.
•Experience working within a regulated environment.
•Experience in commissioning and validation an advantage
Quality & Environmental, health and Safety (EHS) Responsibilities
•Read and understand relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Policies and
•Attend training, complete assessments as required & EHS meetings
•Perform duties in a compliant manner and behave in accordance with site SOP’s, Quality Systems, EHS standards and guidelines and relevant legal requirements. e.g. Safe Systems of Work, Permit to Work, ISO and EUGMP
•Report all accidents, incidents and any EHS issues using the appropriate process in a timely manner. Engage with safety investigations as required to identify root causes and appropriate corrective actions.

Required Skills

• Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.

•Current, working knowledge of site and industry standards regarding Good Engineering Practice.

•Familiarity with engineering operations policies, systems, and procedures.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft office (excel, word, PowerPoint).

•Excellent communication skills, a confident and effective decision maker, with a proven ability to influence others.

•Team player, with a flexible approach and able to work under own initiative.

•Strong verbal and interpersonal skills

•Competent level of technical writing and understanding of technical documentation.

•Must be eligible to work in Ireland
