Business Development Manager – Dental
Territory: Southwest and South Wales
We have a great opportunity for someone to enter the Dental sales arena. This role comes with amazing earning potential, a nice management team and a great company culture. This is also a top performing territory which has been well looked after!!
The client would ideally like someone with dental sales experience or potentially a dental nurse who wants to break into the commercial world. This is not a prerequisite however it’s a massive plus! After that, anyone within medical devices sales that wants to enter the dental implant arena!!
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and establish new contacts with prospective customers in the Southwest and South Wales area.
  • You will work across the assigned territory, generate new business at all opportunities but never loosing focus on your existing client base.
  • Online, telephone and in-person visits, presentations and product demos to existing and prospective customers in the world of dental implants.
  • You develops effective proposals and quotations prospective customers, winning over business from the competition and growing the overall spending on your area.
  • In this role you’ll analyses the territory potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organisation, focusing on key target account across both areas.
  • You will plan and organises your personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time investment for the territory.
  • Reporting to management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • It’s vital that you keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
  • You will participate in trade shows and conventions in various locations, not always in your own personal territory.
    Package:
  • Basic: £45-60k DOE
  • Commission: Circa £40k
  • Car / Car Allowance

    The Ideal Person:
  • You will ideally come from a dental background, sales or clinical – someone with dental product sales experience or a dental nurse with knowledge in implants who wants to break into the commercial world!
  • After that, anyone within medical devices sales that wants to enter the dental implant arena!!
  • You’ll need the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships, based on you’re great personal skills in winning over the trust and respect of the dental professionals you meet with.
  • It’s vital you can demonstrate aptitude, problem-solving abilities, motivation and drive, and the desire to work hard and earn well in this sector.
  • You’ll need to be a results-orientated person who is able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital!
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams etc are essential.
  • You need to be in the Southwest or South Wales area (this includes Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Bristol, Gloucester, Cardiff etc) or willing to relocate to one of those areas.
  • You will need a full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK essential – no sponsorship available (sorry)
