South Kent – Office based role

Monday to Friday – 35 hours per week

Fantastic role working for a not-for-profit organisation based in Ashford as an Audit Compliance Officer. This is a senior role managing the performance of auditors and ensuring processes are followed. The ideal candidate will be data-driven with strong analytical skills.

Duties include:

Oversee and guide a team of auditors, ensuring that audits comply with company guidelines, policies and procedures

Drive continuous improvement in quality and performance within the audit team

Track and assess the performance of the audit team

Reviewing audit reports for quality and provide clear feedback to auditors

Draft, review and revise documents and procedures

Resolving any audit related queries

The successful candidate will have:

A lead auditor certification

Experience in a relevant role, ideally within a regulated sector such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, food production

The ability to interpret and analyse complex technical standards and reports.

Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to assess data effectively

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English

An exceptional attention to detail

Familiarity with risk assessment processes and procedures

An in-depth knowledge of ISO 19011 standards

To be at a distinct advantage when applying you will also have:

Knowledge of ISO 17024 and ISO 17021
