Climb Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading company in the Dinnington area

Role: Customer Service Engineer

The role will involve supporting the ongoing engineering activities for the key client bases. There may be occasional requirements for the candidate to fulfill short spells of engineering support at customer sites.

Working closely with our central Engineering team, the post holder will provide support to our customer base, helping keep our Emergency Service colleagues operational at all times. Further, the post holder will work closely with our Customer Success Managers and Clinical Application Specialist colleagues to feedback any relevant information on customer requirements to support our continued drive to give our partners the best possible experience in using our products.

Offices situated in South Yorkshire, Suffolk, and Clackmannanshire. The core operating hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5 pm, but some flexibility may be required to support the business needs.

Responsibilities:



You will be responsible for the servicing, calibration and repair of our suite of medical devices across our key customers

Work closely with the Head of Medical Engineering and Team Leader to best plan workload and maximise customer service compliance

*

Undertake and execute engineering activities in accordance with quality standards expected of medical engineers

*

Undertake and participate in MedServ quality improvement activities

*

Facilitate field engineering activities by liaising with both a range of personnel within our customers organisations and our field engineers tasked with fulfilling in-field servicing

*

React and support customers across the UK when required (in the rare event of a Field Safety Corrective Action

*

Supporting customers with any technical queries

*

Communicating with relevant colleagues to initiate support from other departments where queries materialise relating to clinical performance of devices, or orders and shipments for example

*

Feedback any identified common issues (outside of engineering issues) to support in delivering a more holistic support service

*

Attend all relevant training and development activities. Some training could be overseas

Skills & Qualifications

*

Electronic, Electrical, or Clinical Engineering qualification to minimum of ONC level (HNC desirable)

*

At least 2 years’ experience of working with servicing medical equipment, knowledge and experience of defibrillation and monitoring systems would be desirable.

*

Reliable hard-working individual with a good work ethic and the ability to follow technical instructions/manuals and keep records with a high attention to detail.

*

Be able to demonstrate self-motivation and have learnt new skills and then put them to use.

*

Able to work under their own initiative making sound engineering-based decisions where required.

*

Positive solution focused attitude

*

Good communication skills, written, oral and IT

*

Full, clean driving license.

Located within commutable distance to Dinnington

Salary: 30-35k
